Shadie's questions about the woman the musketeer was with were interrupted by a fire dragon's attack. With her true power awakened by this disruption to her journey to true love, Shadie and the musketeer prevailed over the dragon. However, the musketeer nearly faced his demise after the battle, enveloped by the cursed flames unleashed by his overloaded firearm. In the end, what saved the musketeer from his fate and dispelled the gun's curse was Shadie, who embraced him with open arms even as the dark fire threatened to swallow him whole.
